Doors Open Public House!

Sunday September 7th, 4pm - 7pm

Mallard Cottage, an 18th Century Irish-Newfoundland vernacular style cottage that has been restored and converted into a restaurant, will be open for viewing during its regular Sunday Public House, featuring local musicians in a relaxed pub-style atmosphere. From 4 pm - 7 pm you can come and see the restoration work completed by Sweet Lumber that, in June 2013, was presented with the Southcott Award for excellence in the preservation of the built heritage of Newfoundland & Labrador.

There is limited seating available for dining in the old cottage, but guests are more than welcome to visit and discuss the restoration and stay around for some local music and great food!
